Return & Refund Policy

At By The Ganges, we take pride in offering pure, high-quality honey and spices. Since our products are consumables, we follow a strict return and refund policy to ensure safety and quality for all customers.

Returns

We do not accept returns once a product has been opened or used, for hygiene and safety reasons.

Returns are only accepted if you receive:

  • A damaged or tampered product
  • An incorrect item (different from what you ordered)

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition in which you received it, with the original packaging intact.

Refunds

  • If your return is approved, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • In case of prepaid orders where the package is lost in transit, you will receive a full refund.
  • Refunds are not applicable if the product was delivered correctly and is not defective.

Replacements

If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, we can send a replacement at no extra cost, subject to stock availability.

How to Raise a Return/Refund Request

  1. Email us at support@bytheganges.com within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Share your order ID, a clear photo of the product, and a short description of the issue.
  3. Our team will review and get back to you within 2 working days.

Exceptions

  • Products purchased during special sales or discounts are not eligible for refunds, unless defective or damaged.
  • Minor variations in color, texture, or taste (since our products are natural) will not be considered defects.
